Corona asked:
I know ebay has thier own fees, but what should I charge to list, and sell and ship someone else’s items? I was thinking around 20%. Is that too high or low?

The customers will let you know by how popular they allow you to become. A place like that near here charged 38% for low priced items and down to 25% for high priced items, but that was when the economy was better. I don’t know if they are still in business.
People are really reluctant to part with 25 to 35% of the value of their stuff because you sold it for them.
If you’re renting a spot and all of the equipment, you need to draw up a business plan for it to see whether you can make it.

When I did this, I charged 35% for items that sold for $100 and below.
For items that were higher, I charged 25%.
I had a mandatory $5.00 listing fee and that was payable, even if the item didn’t sell. Because it does take time to research, take pictures, write a description, etc…
All fees came out of my commission.
I had all clients sign a binding contract.
Also, ensure that once you take an item on consignment, that you keep physical possession of the item. You never know when a consignee may break or change their mind about the item.
Also, ensure that you have a space to secure all items in your possession. If you happen to break or damage the item in any way, you are on the hook for a replacement or pay the consignee a fair market value of their item.
Good luck!

That’s a difficult one to figure out and it depends. eBay is going to take 10% and then PayPal is going to take another 3-4%. That leaves the person you are helping with around 60% after you take the 20%.
Hey if they are too lazy to do it themselves then you can charge them however you see fit. They just have to agree.
