humormefunny asked:
Drop shipping has become a big deal on places such as eBay and other auction sites. I would like to find out the good, the bad, and the ugly about them? Anyone have a drop ship business? Anyone ever done business with one?
Drop Shipping is used by middlemen and mail order firms who DO NOT STOCK INVENTORY of the products sold for future delivery through mail order, catalog and INTERNET ADVERTISING.

Having products drop shipped by manufacturers, allows middlemen to concentrate on sales and advertising functions, rather than stocking INVENTORY THAT IS ALREADY BEING STORED BY MANUFACTURERS. All of the costs of warehousing and the personnel needed to pick, pack and ship products are eliminated.

sorry mind teling me wat’s a drop ship business?
I have done business with some and I must say it’s got advantages and disadvantages. For starters the profit margin are not that great as compared to buying wholesale.
Also, I’ve been in a situation where I sold an item only to discover that the dropshipper had run out of the product. It was a desparate time for me and my reputation.
Beware - a lot of the so-called dropshippers are just middlemen - I get my bona-fide source from (it’s certified by eBay)
